I' m pretty sure sanderson is the same way. Last year leesville had a total of 6 guys comitted, 2 d1 2 d2 and 2 d3 with a few players who had offers. There are many other players who are younger and have not committed as well as many players going to smaller d1 or even d2 or d3. Yes there are players who are not that good, but that I know of there are commit to NCSU, ECU, UNCG, UNCC, western, and that' s just the D1 players that have already committed. In my opinion this years cap-8 is probably tougher than d3 baseball. Fun to watch these very skilled 'ballplayers'. In my opinion, what we' re seeing is the result of a lot of these athletes playing in top shelf summer programs against high end competition from throughout the southeast and mid-Atlantic.

This year they have Cooper (ECU), Conley (NCSU), and Papp who will go D1 as a pitcher somewhere, and all 3 of these kids are juniors. All due respect to Millbrook, I don' t see them higher than 4th, and probably 5th if Wakefield scores runs like they' re capable of. Like Sanderson a lot, saw Dulaney at UNCG couple wee\ks ago, he looks in mid season form. They are stacked offensively with Butler, Allen, Ramos, Grewe, and new transfer Montilla. Brabrand, Butler, Allen, and Creel should provide quality innings. Coyle, Reget, Teague, Kunz, Cicotte (Chowan commit), are all above average bats. If they can get pitching, their offense will keep them in games. He might be possibly playing with Belmont Abbey.only school he' s heard from so far. And also, Derrick Dabney (C/3B) could go to a small D2/D3 school. Just started pitching about a week ago since his injury back in March. Currently a pitcher at D2 Barton College. On this years team there are as many 7 or 8 SR/JR that will play after high school if they so desire. I heard that Connor Baldy at Sanderson is committed to Pfieffer University.
